[ A ] part is a suite of music in three parts, composed by Ellen Kirkwood and performed by the powerhouse Sirens Big Band. Each part explores different modern topics: the wonder and malignance of the changing landscape of the internet; greed and climate change, and how we have perhaps destroyed our planet beyond repair; and the current refugee crisis, the resilience of those who find themselves without a home, and the lack of compassion of those who mistreat them.

To capture these different yet connected topics i created a surreal digital collage.  Strange pollution ravagaged lands are evoked through swirls and drips of colour, all contained within a gluttonous computer screen.
