I designed this poster for an annual music event in North West Tasmania called Tunes in the Tulips. Held at the Table Cape Tulip Farm during the peak tourist season, when the fields are awash with the colours of the newly sprouted flowers, the poster needed to capture the essence of this event, and the colour and magic of spring. I used digital collage, bringing together vintage botanical and wildlife illustration with typography, to create an eye-catching and unique design. The design was a such a hit that the clients commissioned me to produce the same overall design every year – with slight differences in colour and detail. Together they create a beautiful series.
